About
An afternoon of hands-on making at the South Whidbey Community Center, hosted by the Whidbey Island Language, Art & STEM Center (WILASC). The Curious Creators Lab blends art and STEM into open-ended, project-based fun where kids design, build, and experiment at their own pace.
WILASC's teachers come from wonderfully varied backgrounds - local school teachers, artists, writers, musicians, engineers, environmentalists, and more - and bring that range into every session. Expect a mix of creative art projects and playful science and engineering challenges suited to a range of ages (roughly 4-10).
The Lab runs at the South Whidbey Community Center, a short distance from the main stages. All Little Big KidsFest sessions are hosted by WILASC - see the WILASC page for registration details and age guidance.
