About
JustCOS—pronounced “Just Cause”—is a Pacific Northwest hip-hop artist, father, storyteller, and community builder rooted in Seattle and the Snoqualmie Valley. His extraordinary freestyle ability allows him to transform the people, places, and energy around him into completely original lyrics, making every performance a one-of-a-kind experience.
After nearly 20 years as part of the BrodieNation community—and at least 15 performances throughout the festival’s history—JustCOS is beginning an exciting new chapter. Backed by the Children of the Day, he now combines thoughtful lyricism and unmatched freestyle with live instrumentation, soulful melodies, and infectious energy.
His new creative partnership with Just-Get-Down Productions is opening more doors into Seattle’s music scene and creating opportunities for new collaborations. The formation of the band is only the beginning of a new generation of JustCOS music—one built around family, community, connection, and the power of creating together.
