John Kessler

John Kessler, MC for the Indoor Main Stage on Friday, is a professional musician and producer with a career spanning 4 decades. He was Music Director of NPR's Mountain Stage radio show for 15 years, and has recorded and performed with literally hundreds of artists including Dr. John, Sarah Maclachlan, The Band and Shawn Colvin. Since 2000 John has been the voice and producer of KNKX's blues programs ALL BLUES and NU BLUES. He currently performs around the NW with his own band and will be appearing at LBF on Sunday August 16th.
